Very nice in almost perfect condition Hasselblad 203FE Chrome in box. Camera has been modfied for Hasselblad Digital backs. No mentionable signs of use. No dings or dents. According to Hasselblad there are no issues with the camera however we do see some strange behaviour on this camera:
- When camera is set in the C modus the camera works perfect, no problems at all
- When the camera is used at a specific shutter time and put away without rewinding the shutter it works perfect when using again (whether it is after 1 hour, 1 day or a1 week)
- When the camera is used at a specific shutter time and put away with the shutter cocked and the camera is used after 1 day, 2 days or a week it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. When it doesn't work the curtains stay open. Camera then can be reset by switching to the C modus.
Hasselblad is contacted about the above and their reply is:
"The service technicians consider that this camera doesn't need service and this issue occurs when the camera is not used for a long time. This is what they state: This is due to the Slot Tape on the Curtain set. When the camera is not used for some time, it sticks to the 2nd Curtain. This does not happen when the Curtains are released. Also, it could be the Release magnets, they can etch together. This usually only happens when the camera is not used for a long time."
Camera comes with Acute-Matte D 203 screen, caps, papers and box. The previous owner had to cut out the serial number of the box to get a rebate from Hasselblad.
