Very interesting version of the Leica 90mm f2 APO-Summicron ASPH lens. The Leica 90mm f2 APO-Summicron ASPH lens was was developed at ELCAN (Ernst Leitz Canada) and the prototypes as well as the first pre-series were manufactured in Midland. The series production of this lens was made in Germany as the cooperation with Leica Camera ended due to the sale of the Canadian factory. Lens is from the first pre-series and the barrel is engraved with "DESIGNED BY LEICA CAMERA MFD. IN CANADA" (see last picture). Lens is in like new condition with clean optics. No problems at all. Complete with front and rear lens caps.
