Very rare definitely not often seen almost mint Leica I to Standard conversion. In the past it was possible to upgrade the cameras. In this case one of the previous owners upgraded his Leica I to a Leica Standard. An unusual conversion as there was no rangefinder or long speeds added. Only difference is that the lens was now interchangeable. The upgrade was done with chrome fittings and a new top plate (the 3rd screw is now left to the lens mount instead of behind). Camera is technically in perfect working condition. Speeding times are accurate. Mounted is a Leitz 50mm f3.5 Elmar lens with short tube. Lens shows some haze but nothing too bad. Interesting combination. Do not miss this one. Set comes with case and lens cap.
