Very nice unique cutaway Leica presentation cutaway model of a Leica M3 camera. The top plate is different to the production models. The top plate has a Leica M2 style finder and rangefinder windows and M3 film counter). No production camera in this form is known. The camera is in very nice condition. It shows some signs but nothing too bad. Some marks here and there and a piece of culcanite has been repaired. The camera is technically in perfect working condition. No problems at all. Great piece to add in your collection. A fascinating piece of Leica history. A similar M3 cutaway with M2 style windows was auctioned at the Leica Photographica Auction in November 2018. Of course as it is not light tight you CANNOT takes pictures with this camera.
